When BT Group — a major UK company and one of Europe’s largest technology businesses faced critical spend-management challenges, AI-powered autonomous sourcing helped to deliver big savings, according to Seth Catalli,
Chief Revenue Officer at Globality, Inc., a market-leading company that uses AI to transform enterprise spending.

“The issue involved getting a better handle on project spend and buying the goods and services the organization needed to operate at massive, enterprise-levels,” he says. “We were talking billions of (British) pounds here, where being able to execute efficiently is a key differentiator when it comes to delivering real value to its customers and shareholders. The question was: how could BT achieve the economies of scale and efficiency required to operate at a digitally transformed business scale?”

He notes that the solution BT found “is one that aligns with a trend I anticipate more C-Suites will prioritize this year leveraging smart use of data, analytics, and new technologies. The key differentiator lies in the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI), delivered by a new, autonomous sourcing model.”
